WHAT IS A SPIKE?
When you recruit and retain members on behalf of the Federation, you are not only giving back to the industry, you are also recognized and rewarded through NAHB’s Spike Club. Once you earn six credits you become a Spike, and your status rises as your credits grow.
In 2026 so far, BBIA Spikes have earned 141 credits: 56 for new members and 85 for retention.
About the NAHB Spike ClubHOW CREDITS WORK
- 1 credit for each new Builder or Associate member you recruit
- 1 credit on that member’s first renewal
- 0.5 credit for each renewal after that
- 0.5 credit for recruiting council members
