At the Bay Building Industries Association (BBIA), we are more than just an organization—we are a community of passionate builders, innovators, and advocates who are shaping the future of our region. Chartered in 1973, we proudly represent the interests of the building and remodeling industry, serving as a powerful voice for all who are committed to the growth and prosperity of Bay, Calhoun, Gulf, Holmes, Jackson, and Washington Counties.

In 2013, we embraced a new name to better reflect our expanding reach and diverse membership. Today, as the BBIA, we are a vibrant association made up of hardworking local businesses, all dedicated to driving excellence in construction and homeownership. From general contractors to tradespeople and suppliers, our members form the foundation of the industry that builds our homes, schools, businesses, and public spaces—the very fabric of our six-county community.

Supporting Both Residential and Commercial Construction
While BBIA is committed to building quality homes and fostering homeownership, we are also deeply invested in the commercial side of the building industry. Many of our members specialize in constructing and developing commercial properties—helping to shape the infrastructure of Bay, Calhoun, Gulf, Holmes, Jackson, and Washington Counties by creating spaces for businesses to grow, thrive, and serve our communities.
