Built by BBIA. Powered by community. Each year our members build a home together, and proceeds from the sale go directly back into scholarships for local students pursuing careers in construction, the trades and related fields.

HOW IT WORKS
A member builds
Each year a BBIA builder member leads construction of the Scholarship Home.
The industry gives
Members and their vendors donate time, labor and materials, or offer discounts, to build it.
The public tours
The finished home is showcased in the BBIA Parade of Homes, then sold.
Students benefit
Proceeds from the sale fund BBIA scholarships for students pursuing careers in the building industry.

TOUR IT DURING THE PARADE OF HOMES
The Scholarship Home can be toured during the BBIA Parade of Homes. In 2026 it kicked off the Parade as Entry #1. Every year's Scholarship Home story is also in the Parade of Homes magazine archive.
APPLY FOR A SCHOLARSHIP
BBIA scholarships support local students pursuing careers in construction, the trades and related fields. The 2026/2027 deadline has closed. Check back in January for the 2027/2028 school year application.
BBIA also maintains an endowed scholarship at Gulf Coast State College.
