Our Mission
To protect and promote the interests of the building industry through advocacy, education, and political action. We work at the local, state, and national levels to ensure that housing remains attainable and the construction industry continues to thrive.

The BBIA Government Affairs & PAC Committee is the voice of the building industry at every level of government. From city hall to the state Capitol to Capitol Hill, we advocate for policies that protect housing affordability, reduce unnecessary regulation, and support a strong construction workforce.
Locally, we engage with elected officials, track important issues like impact fees and permitting, and work to keep our members informed and involved.
Through FHBA’s Political Action Committee (FHB PAC), we help elect pro-housing candidates across Florida who understand the value of our industry.
Nationally, we support BUILD-PAC, the National Association of Home Builders' Political Action Committee, which ensures our voice is heard in Washington, D.C.
Together, we shape the future of homebuilding—protecting our profession, our members, and our community.

Our Federation of Advocacy FHBA – Florida Home Builders Association
FHBA leads advocacy efforts across Florida, giving our local concerns a voice in Tallahassee. Through FHB PAC, they support pro-housing candidates and champion policies that strengthen our industry.

NAHB – National Association of Home Builders
NAHB represents our industry in Washington, D.C., advocating on key issues like workforce development, housing finance, and regulatory reform. Through BUILD-PAC, they help elect leaders who support housing and the trades.
